Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning that it absorbs moisture from the atmosphere and should be flushed and changed every two years. Moisture absorbed by the fluid will eventually corrode the cylinder and caliper components. Changing brake fluid on a regular basis is probably the most overlooked area of routine maintenance on all vehicles. You will greatly extend the life of your hydraulic system by changing this fluid. Use only DOT 4 fluid, do not use DOT 3 or DOT 5 fluids.

Federal regulations prohibits the shipment of this product by air transportation. This fluid will be shipped by FedEx or UPS Ground Service only. No air shipments and no postal service.
